Welcome to the new website for the Mat-Su Democrats.  Some of the features are:

1)  Regularly updated articles - This website provides the flexibility of allowing registered Democrats to act as Authors for articles.  We are looking for those who would like to be Authors.  If you don't wish to be an Author, but still wish to submit an article for publication you can do so by sending it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Additionally, we are looking for those who would like to volunteer to be an Editor.  We will also need to designate a few Publishers to publish the finished articles.

2)  Event Calendar - On the left side of the page we have an event calendar.  Check back regularly to see what events are happening in the Mat-Su.

3)  Contact information for your representatives - Get to know who your representatives are in local, state and national government.  Talk to them to tell them your feelings and thought on the issues.  Participation is the key to making improvements to our government and our lives.

4)  Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds from websites of interest - RSS allows us to pull in ever changing articles from other new feeds.  If you know of a website that has RSS feeds you would like to track on our website, please submit them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 5)  Links to websites of interest - Look at the links to other websites.  If you would like to add to them please let us know at the address in #4 above.

6)  Creating an account for the website - If you are a democrat and would like to get actively involved in shaping our community, please register for an account on our website.  This is a three step process.  The first is for you to create an account.  The second is to validate the account by clicking on the email link that you will receive shortly after your account creation.  The last step is to wait until administrators verify that you are an active Democrat and activate your account.  Once that is done, you will receive an email telling you that your account is active.

7)  Pictures - currently there is just some test picture in the album.  If you have pictures of some event that you would like to post to the website, please tell us at the email address in #4 above.  We will arrange to receive the pictures from you and post them.
